Yep. We've had chickens for 5 years now & twelve birds cost ~ $200 a month in feed. So if my math is correct, $200 a month is a lot more than say $10 a doz at a doz a week. Plus factor in your time for care. You can't just plop chickens in a small yards & leave them. But we also spoil our girls.

Got a call today from my care provider that my insurance wouldn't authorize a much needed MRI. I broke down in tears and just bawled. The pain is sometimes almost more than I can take, but we don't know the cause. We were hoping the MRI would show what was going on. #insurancesucks #M4A
